Panattoni Park Mysłowice – an international winner

Panattoni Europe, the leader in the industrial property market in Poland, announced that Panattoni Park Mysłowice received the 2010 Best Industrial Development award for Europe in theInternational Property Awards, British Real estate competition in association with Bloomberg Television. 

Hundreds of the property industry's foremost developers, agents, architects and interior designers from across the length and breadth of both Europe and Africa gathered in London on Friday, September 24th. The reason for their being at the Park Lane Hotel in Mayfair was to hear the results of the International Property Awards. Panattoni Park Mysłowice was awarded in the category"2010 Best Industrial Development" among the nominated logistics properties in Europe. 

This year's jury panel included such experts as: Ben Wood, industry head property markets of Google UK; Peter Bolton King, group chief executive of the National Federation of Property Professionals; Christopher Hall, president elect of FIABCI; Thijs Stoffer, International Consortium of Real Estate Agents Association (ICREA); Fiona Nixon, chairman of the Australia Institute of Architects, Hendrik Nelde, president of FIABCI Belgium; Helen Shield, editor-in-chief of International Homes Luxury Collection magazine and Sven Johns, CEO of the German Real Estate Association. 

Panattoni Park Mysłowice is one of the biggest distribution centres in Poland. The enormous park, which will ultimately comprise 6 buildings, is located near the A4 motorway, along the S1 expressway. At full built-out, the park will total approximately 200,000 m². 

Stuart Shield, president of the International Property Awards, says, "Once again, we have witnessed extraordinary levels of excellence from our winners. The atmosphere throughout the whole event was full of optimism for the future and a good many new business connections were formed by the different companies attending. I now look forward to seeing which of these outstanding entrants are successful at international level in November when we reveal the ultimate winners."

The winners were announced during a special event which took the form of a networking day. Maryam Nemazee, political, business and economic news anchor for Bloomberg Television, was presenter for the daytime award ceremonies while Dina Najia, head of marketing for Bloomberg Television, took over for the evening when the nominees for the grand final were announced. Other guests of note included the Turkish Ambassador and an attaché from the Bulgarian Embassy who were both there to support the success of entrants from their respective countries.

About the International Property Awards 
The Europe & Africa Property Awards in association with Bloomberg Television are part of the International Property Awards which were established 16 years ago and cover residential as well as commercial categories. More than 40 different countries took part this year while those entering for the first time included Norway, Namibia, Mozambique and Latvia. Later this year, top scoring winners from the Europe & Africa Property Awards will compete against other winning companies from the UK, Asia Pacific, the Americas and Arabia to find the World's Best in each category.
