Superheroes are moving to Pavlov. The last space in Panattoni Park Prague Airport II will be occupied by Seqoy

The Panattoni Park Prague Airport II industrial zone will be strengthened by comic book superheroes. The last free space with an area of 1,600 sq m will be occupied by the publishing house Seqoy to store books and comics. The hall aspires to a very high rating within the BREEAM green certification. With this transaction, the industrial park near Pavlov in Central Bohemia is full – at a record pace. The industrial developer Panattoni has managed to build and occupy a total of 130,000 sq m of modern industrial space in just 5 years since the start of construction.

“Larger and more modern space will help us maximize efficiency in storing and distributing books and comics. Top logistics technologies will improve orientation in the warehouse and increase the speed of order processing and the actual search for goods using barcodes,” explains Jiří Pavlovský, Seqoy’s Executive.

“The golden industrial era, started by Amazon in the original Panattoni Park Prague Airport I, is now being completed with Seqoy, and it’s a comic book story with a good ending. The location near Prague and an international airport, with a good connection to the motorway network, has proved to be a significant benefit for all our business partners. I’m looking forward to using this experience elsewhere in the future,” adds Pavel Sovička, Panattoni’s Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

DSV, Tirex Tyre, Panalpina, Huajie, ViaPharma. This is just a brief list of renowned multinational companies that have come to Panattoni Park Prague Airport II in recent years. The first tenant in 2016 was the logistics company DSV. Since then, 113,195 sq m for lease and 17,800 sq m prepared for sale have been fully occupied. Assistance for the arrival of the last client, Seqoy, was provided by the consulting company 108 Agency.

The occupancy of Panattoni Park Prague Airport II corresponds well with the recent creation of a unique green zone around the industrial centre. The main goal of the project is to return groves to the surrounding landscape, because the creation of groves is considered one of the best ways to help expand biodiversity and retain water in the landscape.

With the arrival of Seqoy, the property management company Panattoni has exceeded the limit of 800,000 sq m of area actively managed for its clients to create ideal conditions for their business.

“Seqoy’s very specific and interesting focus is a great piece for our colourful property mosaic, which will soon reach a magical size of one million square metres,” adds Robert Chmelař, Panattoni’s Head of Property Management.
