Honda of the UK Manufacturing (Honda) has today announced it has entered into a contract for sale of its Swindon site. Originally purchased by the Japanese car manufacturer in 1985, the site will be sold to Panattoni , Europe’s largest developer of new build industrial and logistics facilities.

Panattoni, der führende Projektentwickler für Industrie- und Logistikimmobilien in Europa, hat im Februar 2021 eine weitere Logistikimmobilie an das international agierende Logistikunternehmen Dachser SE mit Sitz in Kempten übergeben. Panattoni realisierte das Built-to-Suit-Projekt mit einer Bauzeit von ca. acht Monaten in der dynamisch wachsenden Logistikregion Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt. Insgesamt hat Panattoni damit von 2015 bis 2021 bereits sechs Logistikimmobilien für Dachser entwickelt. Die neu gebauten Standorte befinden sich in Überherrn, Erlensee, Aachen, Öhringen und Alsdorf.

Panattoni, the industrial property market leader in Europe, to deliver a dedicated facility for TJX Europe - the owner of the TK Maxx brand and a leading off-price clothing and homeware retailer. The 61,135 sqm distribution centre will be located in Sulechów, Western Poland. This facility will help to supply products to TK Maxx shops in Poland, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands. Panattoni, Europe’s leading industrial developer, has launched the construction of Panattoni Park Zgorzelec, which will comprise approx. 70,000 sqm. This is the developer’s latest 3 PL investment near the Polish-German border. The first tenant has already been secured for the park – ID Logistics, which will occupy 44,500 sqm for its e-commerce operations. Panattoni has also announced that the project will be BREEAM certified at the ‘Excellent’ level.

Panattoni, Europe’s leading industrial developer, is building another logistics centre in Western Pomerania - Panattoni Park Stargard. The development will comprise three warehouse buildings with a combined area of 172,000 sqm. The main advantage of the project will be its location just next to a transport corridor from Scandinavia to the north and a direct road to Berlin. The construction work is scheduled to start this year.

The developer currently has 6 projects underway in our country, with more than 100,000 m2 of GLA in total, and foresees a major development in 2021
