EuropaProperty awards for Panattoni Europe: Industrial Developer of the Year and CEE Investment Development of the Year for Amazon facilities

Panattoni Europe, Poland's leader in the industrial property market, named developer of the year in the CEE Investment & Green Building Awards, organised by EuropaProperty, while the contract with Amazon wins project of the year. The awards were presented during the gala ceremony on 30 October 2014 at the InterContinental Hotel, Warsaw.

Panattoni Europe has been named Industrial Developer of the Year and won the award for  CEE Investment Development of the Year for developing the two Amazon facilities at the CEE Investment & Green Building Awards. The event is dedicated to investment and sustainable development in Central and Eastern Europe and is organised by the EuropaProperty magazine. The winners of this year's edition were announced at the evening gala which took place on 30 October at the InterContinental Hotel, Warsaw.  The awards were given out in front of some of CEE's leading investment and real estate professionals.

The competition jury of the CEE Investment & Green Building Awards recognised the achievements of Panattoni Europe over the past twelve months, including: the leading position for three quarters of the year with 317,000 sqm under development at the end of 2013; 108,000 sqm of completed space in H1 of 2014 and, lastly, the development of 300,600 sqm in September and completed 345,300 sqm in such projects as the BTS for K-Flex, two facilities for Amazon and the expansion of own park portfolio.

Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner Panattoni Europe, made no secret of his delight, commenting: "It is a huge honour and privilege - to win two awards at such a prestigious event. Each one is special and exceptional. Both of them are a testament to the great determination and professionalism of the best team I have ever worked with - Panattoni Europe."

For the industry, the CEE Investment Development of the Year Award given to the Amazon contract comes as no surprise - this record-breaking transaction in Poland and CEE to build two warehouse facilities in excess of 246,000 sqm has just been officially commissioned. The centres are located in Poznań and Wrocław, and are currently undergoing the third, and last, stage of BREEAM Interim certification for a "Very Good" rating.

At present, Panattoni Europe is developing 162,600 sqm of new warehouse space in Poland, comprised of such projects as Panattoni Park Sosnowiec, Panattoni Park Ożarów II and Panattoni Park Poznań III and IV, as well as a new facility at Panattoni Park Łódź East. From the beginning of the year, the company has completed 400,000 sqm, including the above-mentioned facilities for Amazon. The developer also tops the podium in terms of performance for H1 2014 - Panattoni delivered 108,000 sqm (incl. 50,000 sqm for Castorama Polska and 33,600 sqm for Polaris), that is more than twice as much as the runner-up.
