Panattoni completes the construction of its second park in Bydgoszcz

Panattoni, market leader in industrial real estate in Europe, has completed the development of Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II. The 36,500-square-metre project was built within the city limits, in an investment area of Bydgoszcz.

The latter has just been commissioned, and its tenants include logistics companies like Nissin Logistics, occupying 18,300 sqm, and Inpost with approx. 5,000 sqm. Panattoni’s activity in Bydgoszcz is the company’s response to the steadily growing demand for modern warehouse space in the local market.

According to Tomasz Śrama, Senior Development Manager: “Bydgoszcz is one of the best emerging locations. This is partly because of the relative ease and efficiency of staff recruitment here compared to the leading markets, but most of all due to the developing road infrastructure in the region. The new expressways, particularly the upcoming S5, will boost the appeal of Bydgoszcz and Kuyavia among both logistics providers and manufacturing businesses. We are expecting more road sections to be opened in 2020, and fast connections of the regional capital with Wrocław, Poznań and Gdańsk will be ready in 2022”. He then goes on to add: “Our activity in the region can also be attributed to the investment and enterprise support policy consistently implemented by the City of Bydgoszcz and the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency”.

According to the Mayor of Bydgoszcz, Rafał Bruski: “The spectacular development of Panattoni investments in Bydgoszcz confirms the fact that our city stands out among the most interesting new locations for manufacturing and logistics operations in Poland. This sector is important for driving further growth of the local economy, and so we keep improving our services, e.g. making sure we can provide well-connected and fully-equipped investment areas, and supporting investors, e.g. through the involvement of the Bydgoszcz Regional Development Agency. We are happy that investors appreciate what our city has to offer, such as its human capital, convenient location with good prospects for the future, and availability of sites ready for new investments”.

The fact that Bydgoszcz has caught the eye of big international developers, like Panattoni Europe, has helped the city make its mark in recent years as a strong economic centre for goods warehousing and distribution operations. Modern, high-standard production and warehouse facilities are coming up fast in our city – the offered space now totals approx. 411,700 sqm, and more than 143,500 sqm are still under development or in the pipeline. The strong and steadily growing production sector, central location of Bydgoszcz on the map of Poland, access to an international airport, as well as convenient connections to the Tricity seaports and large economic centres, like Berlin and Wrocław – these are some of the essential advantages of our city in the context of further growth in the TSL sector, supporting the choice of this location by other investors. Panattoni Park Bydgoszcz II comprises close to 36,500 sqm of modern industrial space in a single building. The complex was delivered within city limits, a short distance from the Bydgoszcz Industrial and Technological Park, just 3 km from the city’s bypass and national road no 80, and 9 km from the interchange with the S10 expressway. The flexible units in the park can be used for storage or light manufacturing purposes, and the grounds surrounding the building feature convenient service yards and spacious parking facilities. The project is BREEAM-certified.
