Panattoni Europe has completed a BTO project - 10,200 sqm for Transgourmet Polska

Panattoni Europe, leading developer of industrial space in Poland, has completed the construction of a logistics centre for the Transgourmet holding company, the owner of e.g. Selgros Cash&Carry chain. The 10,200 sqm investment was commissioned by Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o. and built in Ożarów Mazowiecki. The facility is the company's first distribution centre in Poland and will be used to supply the HoReCa sector.

Panattoni Europe has completed another build-to-own (BTO) investment. It is the first distribution centre for Transgourmet Polska in the country. The company offers a broad range of products dedicated to professional cooking and mass caterers - from FMCG to comprehensive furnishings and equipment, and together with the Selgros chain forms part of the international Transgourmet Holding. From the newly built centre in Ożarów Mazowiecki, featuring 10,200 sqm of space, Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o. will be supplying a group of corporate customers from Masovia and Łódź voivodeships, such as hotel chains, through direct deliveries.

The distribution centre built by Panattoni Europe for Transgourmet Polska Sp z o.o. has  10,200 sqm. Of that, 9,000 sqm constitute warehouse space, including a fresh fruit&veg warehouse, a 1,500 sqm freezer warehouse, and an 800 sqm cold store for storing meat and its products as well as fresh fish. Office space takes up 1,200 sqm. The hall has been provided with a number of advanced solutions, such as e.g. a CO ₂-based refrigeration system which allows for heat recovery. This is where heating comes from for the purposes of the warehouse, offices and social areas as well as hot water supply.

The facility dedicated to fast-moving consumer goods, which are subject to special handling, was built in the build-to-own (BTO) formula and in a comprehensive manner - starting from finding the right site for development, through following all the legal and administrative procedures, to supervising construction, acceptance of the finished facility and delivery to Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o.' said Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe, Panattoni Europe.

The distribution centre for Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o. is situated in Ożarów Mazowiecki - only about 25 km from Warsaw city centre. The location is near major transport routes: right next to the national road 92, linking Rzepin with Poznań and Warsaw, and also not far from the European route E30. It is a strategic location for Transgourmet Polska Sp. z o.o., seen as it will be used by the company to supply its customers from Masovia and Łódź voivodeships.
