The BTS facility is divided into two main sections. Manufacturing and technical space takes up 19,715 sqm, while office, social and technical rooms have been arranged on approx. 1,715 sqm. The manufacturing section is used to make modern passenger train body shells, including those for ICx high-speed trains. To this end, the manufacturing section is divided into the laser welding room and the paint shop. The project is situated at the site of the Bombardier Transportation factory in Wrocław, next to the existing manufacturing plant — one of the oldest rolling stock factories in Europe and also one of the oldest rolling stock factories still in operation in Poland. The site is part of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone.
