Ontex is the fifth largest producer of personal hygiene products in the world. It sells its products to more than 110 countries. In the European market, they are delivered through retail chains’ private labels. Its largest customer is Jerónimo Martins, owner of the popular Biedronka chain.
The building for Ontex in Radomsko was built on an 11-hectare site at the Łódź Special Economic Zone, and the total investment into the construction amounted to approx. PLN 100 million. At present, the production plant takes up about 26,000 square metres and employs 170 people, but it can be extended by another 50,000 sqm, increasing the total headcount to 350 people.
