Kongsberg Automotive is a Norwegian holding company, active in the automotive sector for more than 50 years. Its product range includes seat heating and ventilation systems, adjustable lumbar support as well seat massage systems, which are fitted into the majority of vehicles in the world, notably such brands as: Volvo, BMW, Daimler, Jaguar, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Audi, Porche, Ferrari, GM, Renault, Citroen, Peugeot, FIAT, Toyota, Maserati and Bentley.
The plant in Brześć focuses on making such components as heating mats, ventilation and massage systems. Based near Włocławek, the plant sits within the Brześć Economic Zone in Pikutkowo, Brześć Kujawski commune. The facility was built on a 6-hectare site near the Włocławek Zachód junction on the A1 motorway. It has given jobs to more than 1,000 people, some of them qualified technical personnel, including graduates from the State Vocational College in Włocławek.
