Panattoni Europe has a new tenant. It is the French company Compin - the leader in its business in Europe - specialising in the production of components for public transport vehicles, such as seating, lighting and flooring solutions, the European market leader in its sector. A new BTS (built-to-suit) manufacturing facility will be built for the new tenant in Łódź at ul. Jędrzejowska. The investment totalling close to 11,000 sqm will be divided into the manufacturing section, which will take up more than 10,000 sqm, and office space with approx. 812 sqm. Construction works on the project are scheduled to start this coming August. The term of the lease is 10 years, and the transaction was mediated by the advisory agency JLL.

The modern manufacturing facility to be delivered by Panattoni Europe will empower Compin to efficiently manage production processes and also to export goods conveniently. As Michał Samborski, Development Director at Panattoni Europe commented: “The new investment for Compin is an example of a well-conceived relocation project – moving into a cutting-edge facility which will enhance the company’s production capacity. The property will be developed to comply with all of the tenant’s expectations and will be perfectly tailored to the requirements of its business sector. We made it possible by thoroughly analysing the needs of the enterprise and by drawing on Panattoni Europe’s many years’ experience in developing production facilities as well as the excellent knowledge of the Łódź region.” According to Pascal Thebline, General Manager of, Compin Polska “Taking into consideration the specificity of our business, the key challenge was to find the best possible built to suit option. This meant identifying an industrial location close to a transport network which would enable wide distribution, as well as allowing us to increase our production capacity and efficiency. We are delighted that the relocation will also allow us to keep our well – qualified team which is of the utmost importance for our company’s long term success".

Paulina Dziubińska, Senior Consultant, Industrial Department, JLL also offered a comment on the transaction: “We are extremely happy that our extensive needs analyses have enabled us to identify the best solution for Compin. The relocation of a manufacturing company entails numerous challenges, which we worked through in detail during our talks, having a good understanding of the client’s requirements, as well as the situation on the local market for warehouse space. We believe that the new location in a fully custom-tailored building will stimulate further business growth for Compin”.

The new investment will be built in Łódź at ul. Jędrzejowska. The facility will stand right next to the A1 – the only Polish motorway running north-south. It will be just 30 km away from the Łódź Północ junction, where the A1 and A2 motorways intersect. The perfect location in Central Poland with access to the intersection of the European east-west and north-south routes, as well as within administrative city limits, will facilitate Compin’s domestic and international logistics, as well as making it fast and easy for employees to get to work.
