Panattoni Europe’s Robert Dobrzycki is CEO of the Year

Robert Dobrzycki - Chief Executive Officer Europe Panattoni Europe was named CEO of the Year in the prestigious Investment Diamonds awards, given by Executive Club. The award recognises Dobrzycki’s outstanding leadership, which has taken Panattoni Europe to the top of the European industrial development ranking. In the past three years, the company delivered 5.3 million square metres of space across the continent.

Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe at Panattoni Europe – the authority and visionary of the commercial property sector has won Investment Diamonds CEO of the Year award, given by the Executive Club. The awards recognise outstanding individuals and organisations in the finance and the investment market. Robert Dobrzycki was chosen by the Competition Jury made up of the representatives of leading Polish and international enterprises. The awards were presented on 28 May at the Business Diamonds Gala, a celebration combining two prestigious events of the real estate and investment markets: Premium Real Estate Summit and Investment & Finance Forum. The laudation delivered by Ewa Wernerowicz, President of the Management Board of Vivus Finance, read as follows: “This year’s Diamond for CEO of the Year goes to a person associated with the largest developer of industrial facilities in Europe. 14 years ago, he opened the company’s Central European office. Under his management, the company built nearly 6 million square metres of warehouse and industrial space in Poland. He successfully implements the company’s ambitious plans of supporting the local business community by delivering multi-functional buildings for a wide range of customers. My sincere congratulations go out to Robert Dobrzycki – Managing Partner Panattoni Europe.”

Panattoni Europe – product of prudent management. The business management strategy adopted by Robert Dobrzycki makes for continuous and systematic growth. Panattoni Europe was established in 2005 and has since then delivered in excess of 7.5 million sqm of industrial space. In the past three years alone, the developer built more than 5.3 million sqm of space in Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany, completing 117 projects and claiming first place in the ranking of Top Property Developers (PropertyEU) twice. CEO Panattoni Europe also took the company to the top of developer rankings in Poland – where 6 million sqm of industrial space have been delivered – and the Czech Republic, with about one million sqm. In addition, the company is the only developer to deliver speculative space in the United Kingdom and consolidates its position in the German market year after year.

The year 2018 may be regarded as a true paragon of good leadership. The developer delivered 1.37 million sqm of space – including 135,000 sqm for Amazon in Sosnowiec – and leased 1.65 million sqm – including Poland’s largest warehouse at ground level for Leroy Merlin in Central Poland. Panattoni Europe was also involved in one of the biggest transactions in the industrial property market, in which European Logistic Investment BV, co-managed by Griffin Real Estate finalised the acquisition of a portfolio of 9 logistics parks delivered by the developer. The value of the deal, accounting for a total of 300,000 sqm was around 200 million euro.

The CEO of the Year title awarded by the Investment Diamonds Competition Jury is one more proof of Panattoni Europe’s strong standing not only in real estate, but in business in general. Picking up the statuette, Robert Dobrzycki, Chief Executive Officer Europe Panattoni Europe, said: “I am delighted with this award, but I find even greater satisfaction in what brought it about – the hard work of hundreds of people, trust of customers, consistent strategy and good decision-making, which produce successful investments. This statuette confirms where we are today and from this point all I can do is thank our Panattoni Europe team – not only for your daily commitment, but for the inspiration you are for me!”

This is not the first time Robert Dobrzycki was recognised as an individual. In 2011, at the CEEQA Gala he was acclaimed as Personality of the Year. Also, in 2018 he was awarded the title of FRICS, which is an international measure of excellence, and he is the laureate of the honorary award " One who changes Polish industry".
