European industrial real estate market leader Panattoni has started the development of Panattoni Park Rzeszów Airport II. Today, the groundbreaking ceremony took place on the site of an 11,300 sqm BTS project, which is being constructed for US firm BorgWarner. This US-stock exchange listed company produces vehicle powertrains and exhaust system subassemblies. The tenant is to start setting up its assembly lines before the end of the year, with the entire building to be handed over in February 2022.

The logistics property is located in Rhineland-Palatinate and will be handed over to Hornbach in November. Based in Bornheim (near Landau, Rhineland-Palatinate), the family-run business is one of the biggest operators of DIY superstores and garden centres in Europe. Hornbach will use the property as a centre for warehousing, shipping and distribution.

Panattoni, the leading project developer for industrial and logistics real estate in Europe, handed over Panattoni Park Mannheim Ost in Ladenburg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany on schedule on 30 July 2021 to neska Schiffahrts- und Speditionskontor Gesellschaft [neska Shipping and Forwarding Office], a company in the HGK Logistics and Intermodal business sector of HGK Group. The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of neska and Panattoni, the deputy mayor of Ladenburg, and the local press.

Frank Punte has joined the Panattoni Netherlands team on August 2nd as Director of Technical Development. In his new role, Punte, together with Eelco Verweij, is responsible for coordinating contacts with the public sector, contractors, architects, engineering and other technical consultancy companies.
