New Companies from Real Estate Industry Join #property4heroes Initiative with 1150 Meals Already Delivered Daily

New companies have joined a group of commercial property market leaders to support personnel of hospitals and ambulance services across Poland. As part of the #property4heroes initiative, every day 1150 meals are delivered to physicians, nurses, paramedics and support personnel.

As part of the next stage of #property4heroes, the following companies have come to help: CA Immo, Capital Park Group and Savills Investment Management, joining CPI PropertyGroup, Echo Investment, EPP, Ghelamco, Globalworth, Griffin Real Estate, HB Reavis, Immofinanz, Invesco Real Estate, Panattoni, Skanska, and Vastint.

“It is a clear sign that the companies which normally compete are able to join forces to help personnel of medical centres in such a difficult time, showing the strength and potential of the whole industry not only in business terms. The positive feedback from the medical personnel reassures us that they need our help very much. For us it is also a valuable lesson learnt for the future that it is worth joining forces, sharing budgets and cooperating. The initiative is likely to strengthen our mutual business relations, when life and work are no longer dependent on the ongoing epidemic,” say the representatives of companies participating in the #property4heroes initiative.

The meals are delivered every day to sixteen hospitals and ambulance stations in nine Polish cities: Warsaw, Krakow, Katowice, Wrocław, Kielce, Łódź, Poznań, Szczecin, and Gdańsk. Most often these include lunches, but also beverages and snacks. The companies participating in the initiative have engaged tenants, who normally operate in the office building and shopping centres from their portfolio, in preparing the meals. The companies’ teams have also addressed logistics aspects of delivering the meals to specific places. The coordinators, who know the demand in the individual centres in a given city, have helped a lot.

“Each day we receive emotional thanks from hospitals and medical centres supported by the real estate industry. The regularly delivered meals enable us to concentrate on treating the patients, especially as due to sanitary restrictions, their activity outside work has been limited to the minimum. It’s important aid which they appreciate a lot,” – says Małgorzata Mikulik, who coordinates the aid in Warsaw hospitals.

In addition to the #property4heroes initiative, which focuses on delivering meals to hospitals and medical centres, companies from the commercial property market are also helping individually by providing medical personnel with personal protective equipment or life-saving and treatment equipment.
