When buying clothes, look to Łódź and no further. The Polish company KAN sp. z o.o. – owner of the Tatuum fashion label, is establishing its central warehouse at Panattoni’s Central European Logistics HUB. The enterprise has leased 10,150 sqm (approx. 450 sqm of office space) and is set to move in there by mid-August. The Polish company KAN sp. z o.o. is well aware of the potential offered by Łódź. This is where the company was established in 1995, and where it opened its first Tatuum store 4 years later. From Central European Logistics Hub, the brand will be delivering its products to more than a hundred salons in Poland and Europe, as well as fulfilling orders from the online store. The company’s presence at the Panattoni park near Łódź is related to the consolidation of the existing warehouse space, aimed at achieving economies of scale and facilitating logistics processes. It is also part of the wide-scale implementation of Tatuum’s international expansion plans and a step forward in the growth of e-commerce.

“Efficient logistics and supply operations are crucial in the fashion industry, and necessary for the implementation of our vision to develop our network internationally and through e-commerce, but most of all to fulfil the expectations of our customers” says Tomasz Pawluk, Tatuum CEO.

Katarzyna Kujawiak, Development Director from Panattoni comments on the new contract: “The presence of a Polish fashion label known for top-quality garments at Central European Logistics HUB gives us great satisfaction. It proves that our actions are helping to restore Łódź to its former glory, as well as support the development of Polish industry, in this case the textile industry”, adding: “As a developer, we have been present in Łódź for about 14 years, and with our Central European Logistics HUB we set our sights on creating the New Industrial District of Łódź. And it is happening! I am also hopeful that our HUB will go down in history as one of the milestones in the industrial history of Łódź”.

Panattoni Central European Logistics Hub is being delivered by Panattoni as Europe’s largest logistics complex with a planned space of 600,000 sqm. The site is located at ul. Jędrzejowska in Łódź, right next to the A1 – the only Polish motorway running north-south. The hub is just 30 km away from the Łódź Północ junction, where the A1 and A2 motorways intersect. At present, the construction of the Central European Logistics Hub exceeded the halfway mark. To date, 370,000 sqm have been completed and a further 40,000 sqm are under development. Businesses which have already decided to come to the Hub to grow include BSH Sprzęt Gospodarstwa Domowego, Media Expert and SMYK. The Hub drives the development of the New Industrial District of Łódź, with a prospect of 7,000 new jobs.
