The Rhenus Group, a globally operating logistics services provider, has now signed a lease contract for the entire 120,000 m2 of a new logistics facility developed by Panattoni Europe in the industrial estate “Industriepark Rurtal” near Hückelhoven. Rhenus will open a location for customers in the industry and commerce sectors, thus expanding their existing network of multi-user facilities for warehousing solutions.

Panattoni Europe, a leading project developer of industrial and logistics real estate is developing 23,000 square metres of industrial and logistics space in Durmersheim, south of Karlsruhe. Durmersheim is a sought-after industrial location with an excellent traffic connection to the B36. Panattoni is investing a double-digit million sum in the project and construction will begin in late 2017.

On October 5, 2017, bulwiengesa presented an evaluation of development work in the area of modern logistics properties as part of the study “Logistics and Real Estate 2017”. The ranking refers to completions by project developers, including the pipeline in Germany. In this context, Panattoni Europe takes first place in 2017 with 231,500 square meters of developed space. It was confirmed today that First Industrial and Panattoni Europe have merged to form a new development company in the UK, named First Panattoni. The merger coincides with the company’s announcement that it has raised a first phase capital facility of £300m to spend on new land purchases and speculative development in the UK.

The Noerpel Group is building a new logistics centre in Elsdorf in Lower Saxony together with the logistics real estate developer, Panattoni Europe. The foundation stone for the 43,000 square metre facility is being laid today by Stefan Noerpel-Schneider (Noerpel Group) and Fred-Markus Bohne (Panattoni Europe). By November, the largest single location of the Noerpel logistics company will be completed in the LogIn-Park Elsdorf, directly beside the A1 motorway between Hamburg and Bremen.
